Focusing on You, the Fundamentals, and the Joys of Jamming
in the Heart of the Historic Blues Country (about 60 miles south of Memphis).

Jon Gindick, of Clarksdale, Mississippi and Malibu, California,  leads Jam Camp, and has assembled a team of professional players and coaches who work together to create a customized Jam Camp for every player who attends. With his self-published books dating back to 1977, Jon has been turning people on to the harmonica, and helping them play better for a very long time. Jon has now put on almost 40 Jam Camps. Music and harp are his life. When you sign up for Jam Camp, Jon offers you a free phone lesson or consultation that can help you prepare for the camp. Jon's books have sold close to 2 million copies and you can order them here on Jon's website. Music from Jon's new album "When We Die, We All Come Back As Music"  (winner of the Holywood in Media Awards for Blues 2010) can be heard at http://www.jongindickband.com

Brian Purdy of Ocala Florida is a former Jam Camper who is now a fine player and a great coach. Brian is also the owner (and developer) of Harp Gear Amplifiers, and I regard him as one of the foremost experts in using amps and mics and effects to get the tone you want.  He is also an expert in repair and tuning and teaches classes on that. The fact that Brian is so close to the process of learning harmonica makes him a great communicator of the basics. Thanks, Brian for the great job you do! http://www.harpgear.com

who is a master in "country styles" as well as blues and jazz. TJs guitar playing is a great asset to the camp as he gives campers extra jamming opportunities as well as spot-on feedback. TJ teaches all aspects of harping and is our expert vocal harmonizer. He is a charismatic performer and humble as a person. http://www.tjklay.com/

Hash performs on  vocals, harp and guitar. His warm personality and all around musicianship make him a fountain of learning  and jamming at every camp he coaches at.
