Jon Gindick started playing guitar in 1959 and harmonica in 1969. By 1965 he was playing  them as one instrument--"guitarmonica" and today he is known as a very effective and compelling singer songwriter with virtuosic rack harmonica. Jon uses a Strnad Microphone and an Hohner hho1 harmonica rack. The microphone helps improve harmonica placement in his embouchure so Jon uses the mic whether he is amplifying or not. Most of the videos below were played and recorded with a MAC computer.
